DAC7 · Poland
KAS already sees revenue. Cost basis is yours to show
Vinted, Allegro, OLX and other platforms report seller data to Krajowa Administracja Skarbowa. That file holds the amounts received, not what you paid in the shop.

30 sales or €2,000 → the platform reports to KAS
What DAC7 changes for a reseller in Poland
- The threshold matches the rest of the EU: 30 sales of goods or the equivalent of €2,000 a year, and one of them is enough.
- The platform will ask for a NIP or PESEL, date of birth and address. That is the directive at work, not a phishing attempt.
- The report carries consideration received, not profit — the purchase price is absent.
- Sourcing abroad and selling locally splits the paper trail across two countries and two currencies.
What the year looks like in documents
Through the year
Every purchase is stored with its receipt, shop, date and prices before and after discount.
On each sale
Price, shipping and platform fee are recorded next to the specific item.
By 31 January
The platform reports the previous calendar year to KAS.
Before settling
The annual package gives a PDF, CSV and ZIP of originals to reconcile against what was reported.
What the platform sends and what stays with you
Identification
Name, address, date of birth, NIP or PESEL and account details are collected by the platform.
Quarterly amounts
Consideration received, number of activities and fees withheld go to KAS from the platform.
Cost basis
Purchase receipts exist only on your side — neither Vinted nor Allegro can see them.
Multi-currency
Buy in EUR, sell in PLN: each amount keeps its own currency and the rate from the day of the transaction.
FAQ
What are the DAC7 thresholds in Poland?
A platform reports you if in a calendar year you made at least 30 sales of goods or received more than the equivalent of €2,000. Crossing either condition is enough.
Why does Vinted ask for my NIP or PESEL?
To meet the DAC7 seller identification requirement. Without it a platform may restrict payouts. It is a standard step, not a check aimed at you personally.
Does a report to KAS mean tax is due?
No. DAC7 concerns data transfer, while taxation follows Polish law. The data is used to reconcile against what you declared.
When does the platform send the data?
By 31 January of the year following the reportable period: data for 2026 is reported by 31 January 2027.
I buy in Italy and sell in Poland. Where does that count?
Purchases and sales keep their own currencies and dates, and Buer stores the rate from each transaction day. Where the result is declared is a question for an adviser in your country of tax residence.
